Data Retention Policy
How TBP decides how long account, booking, support, security and business data is kept.
1. Retention approach
Retention depends on the reason data was collected, active account/service needs, security/fraud requirements, dispute handling and legal or accounting obligations.
2. Typical categories
- Account/profile: generally while active, then deleted/anonymised after valid deletion subject to limited lawful exceptions.
- Bookings/queues: only as long as needed for operations, support, disputes and legitimate business records.
- Payments/subscriptions: transaction metadata may be retained for accounting, reconciliation and fraud prevention.
- Support/privacy requests: long enough to resolve and demonstrate handling.
- Security logs: for a limited period appropriate to investigation/prevention.
- Backups: deleted data may remain temporarily until protected backup rotation removes it.
